Matthew and Justin Blizzard go way back, from high school buddies, to college bandmates (yay Dead Dogs!).  Justin was a groomsman at our own wedding, and now here he was, gettin' hitched. Documenting the marriage of Julia and Justin was a dream. We were welcomed as family amongst them, and with so many details worth capturing, we literally shot without stopping all day. Every single item of decor was handmade by Julia's sister, Elise, and her mother, Rosemarie. Let me tell you, it turned out beautifully. With so many hours put into making this day turn out so perfectly,  I suppose we kind of considered it our duty to capture it all. My favorite part of the day came as all of the guests congregated in the barn. With ambient light, the microphone passed from one to another, as so many people came forward, telling stories, remniscing, well wishing, and giving thanks. I've never experienced such an intimate moment at a wedding before, and it's one I won't soon forget.

Major thanks to our new friend Phil for taking us out on his gorgeous sailboat.  Seeing California from the ocean's view is definitely my favorite way to enjoy the state.
