My parents have a closet filled with old VHS tapes, each one chronicling some major event we experienced as children. To this day, one of my favorite things to do is sit down with a stack of tapes and relive those moments. One of my favorite videos, affectionally titled "Ma and Pa at the Beach", is a relic to my childhood days in Florida. I'm sure that as we spent that day in the sun, the camera was just an accesory to us all. We learned to ignore it's presence, and in turn got an entire day's worth of memories. As I'm older, that tape is all that I have left, my memories of that warm summer day have long since faded, my sisters and I are grown, and if it weren't for that camera, the laughs we had and songs we sang would be gone too.
The home movie project is a simple idea that Matthew came up with, one to keep us constantly documenting the things we do, for ourselves, and for our children. This project is personal, and we invite you to share our moments, our happenings, our history.
